Mustek MDC-4000 4MP Digital Camera
Thursday, 16 November 2006

Which would you prefer: a still camera, a video camera, a voice recorder, a webcam, or a sharp stick in the eye? If you answered ?all of the above except the stick part,? take a long, hard look at the Mustek MDC-4000 4MP Digital Camera. You can tell it?s a multifunction digital camera because it says ?multifunction digital camera? right there on the casing.

So not only can you take snapshots at a max res of 2272×1704, you can also record video, overdub sound, connect to a TV with the video out hookup, or use it as a webcam. With 16MB of internal memory and a slot for an SD or MMC card, the MDC-4000 can even serve as a portable USB 1.1 drive. It doesn?t perform any of those functions at a level beyond ?decent?, but whaddya want for sixty bucks postpaid? Oh, wait, you just answered that question.

Note: sharp stick not included.
